They will receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns. The Teller/Personal Banker will handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Job Title: Teller/Personal Banker

• Coordinate professional and knowledgeable assistance to all customers. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns; handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
• Handle all functions of personal banking, new accounts, inquiries and problem accounts in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
• Be flexible in dealing with the needs of customers, several team members, and departments.
• Promote the Bank’s products and services to build long-term customer relationships; act as an advocate of the Bank and promote Citizens Alliance Bank’s brand.
• Perform essential banking duties including processing transactions on teller platforms, verifying cash, dispersing cash, deposits, and payments; assist with end-of-day processing and check imaging for accuracy.
• Open all types of new deposit accounts, resolve problems, and help customers access and manage their products and services.
• Use effective selling techniques to generate product interest and customer action; actively pursue potential customers and recognize quality opportunities.
• Complete required documentation for customer contacts in compliance with bank policy and banking regulations.
• Provide account information, answer inquiries, perform telephone transfers, and collaborate with Operations Help Desk for complex inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services; serve as a liaison between customers and the bank.
• Maintain confidentiality about sensitive customer and proprietary information.
• Adhere to Internal Service Standards and procedures; read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, or operating manuals.
• Attend to physical demands (standing or stationary position ~50%; occasional lifting up to 30 pounds) and maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed; may require installing a Multi-Factor Authentication app on a personal device.
• Adhere to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including BSA/AML, and follow the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education and Experience:
  
  Required — High School diploma or GED;
  Required — Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge. Preferred — One to three years of banking experience. Preferred — One to three years of administrative or customer service experience. Preferred — Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
