This role goes beyond traditional accounting—you’ll be at the center of how we deliver, bill, and scale our services.

• Contribute to the invoicing process across product and professional services engagements
• Ensure complex client billing requirements are set up and executed accurately
• Partner with internal teams to align contracts, project setup, and revenue recognition

• Manage collections with a proactive, professional approach
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve billing questions quickly
• Identify opportunities to streamline collections and improve cash flow visibility

• Manage multi-state sales and use tax processes with accuracy and consistency
• Leverage tools like Vertex to ensure proper tax application and reporting
• Maintain compliance while improving efficiency in tax workflows

• Set up and manage projects in Netsuite
• Ensure time entry accuracy for both internal and external resources
• Help connect project activity to billing, revenue, and reporting

• Identify and implement process improvements across AR, billing, and project workflows
• Partner cross-functionally to enhance system usage and data accuracy
• Help scale processes as the business grows

• You build strong, trusted relationships across Finance, Services, and Operations
• Billing and project setup processes run smoothly and accurately
• Data in Net Suite is reliable, timely, and actionable
• You proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce friction

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in project or services-based environments
• Experience with billing models such as T&M, fixed fee, or milestone-based work
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Hands‑on Net Suite experience (Dynamics 365 a plus)
• Strong communication skills—you can explain complex topics clearly
• High attention to detail with a systems and process-oriented mindset
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets)
• Exposure to month-end close (journal entries and/or reconciliations)

• Experience with sales tax compliance and tools like Vertex
• Familiarity with reviewing contracts or SOWs for billing requirements
• Experience with reporting tools (Power BI or similar)
• Knowledge of ASC 606 in a professional services environment
• Concur or corporate card program experience

Hybrid – Corporate office in Hamel, MN with 1 to 2 days remote

Reports to the Assistant Controller; works closely with the Professional Services Director and Operations team.
