Your contributions:

• Independently creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to French GAAP and IFRS for international companies, including relevant supplementary information.
• Maintaining, analyzing, and reconciling the local French GAAP books and confidently transitioning differences to other accounting standards.
• Close cooperation with external payroll and tax partners to ensure compliance with all local legal requirements.
• Proactive coordination with internal teams (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Business Controlling) to ensure smooth operations in the finance department.
• Preparing and timely submission of all local financial reports (e.g., VAT returns, corporate tax prepayments, tax returns) – you also act as a competent contact person in the annual financial statement process for auditors, business controllers, management, and authorities.

What you bring with you:

• Several years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting, ideally in an international context.
• Excellent qualification as a certified public accountant or a successful degree, preferably from a renowned university, in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of French GAAP (mandatory), experience with IFRS and/or HGB is advantageous.
• Very good Excel skills and confident use of reporting and analysis tools.
• Fluent French and German skills in speech and writing;
  English skills are a plus.
