The Private Wealth Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and wealth preservation strategies to high-net-worth individuals and families. This role requires deep experience working with affluent clients, delivering highly personalized advice, and building long-term, trusted relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary advisor to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, delivering customized wealth management solutions
- Develop and implement holistic financial plans, including investment management, retirement planning, tax‑efficient strategies, estate planning coordination, and risk management
- Construct and manage diversified investment portfolios aligned with client goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons
- Collaborate with external professionals (CPAs, estate attorneys, trust officers) to ensure integrated wealth solutions
- Proactively monitor client portfolios and financial plans, making recommendations based on market conditions and life events
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional services and strategic advice
- Acquire and retain new high-net-worth clients through referrals, networking, and business development efforts
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies
- Provide exceptional client service, including regular reviews, reporting, and timely communication
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–10 years of experience advising high-net-worth clients
- Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and significant assets under management
- Strong understanding of investments, portfolio construction, and wealth planning strategies
- Experience working with trusts, estate planning concepts, tax‑efficient investing, and philanthropic planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Professional designations such as CWPA, CFP®, CFA®, CPA, or equivalent
- Experience in a private bank, registered investment advisor (RIA), or family office environment
- Established network of high-net-worth clients and referral partners
- Client‑first mindset with a high level of discretion and professionalism
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills - Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, client‑friendly manner
- High ethical standards and commitment to fiduciary responsibility
