Location: Glencoe, MN | On-site
Schedule: Full-time, standard weekday bank hours. Client meetings and occasional community events may take place outside regular hours.
Compensation: Starting base salary of $110,000-$150,000, depending on experience, plus an uncapped bonus opportunity
About the CompanyCota Coaching & Consulting is recruiting an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer for a community-focused bank in Glencoe, MN. The bank serves agricultural producers and businesses through personalized service, lasting relationships, and sound lending practices.
This opportunity combines business development, relationship management, and lending expertise. You’ll help farmers and business owners navigate financial decisions while growing a quality loan portfolio and contributing to the local community.
What You’ll Do- Develop new agricultural and commercial lending relationships and strengthen existing client connections.
- Understand clients’ operations, goals, and financial needs to recommend appropriate lending solutions.
- Manage the lending process from initial conversations through financial analysis, credit review, closing, and ongoing support.
- Evaluate financial information, assess credit risk, and present recommendations to the credit committee.
- Partner with bank colleagues to connect clients with additional products and services.
- Stay engaged with clients to anticipate changing needs and identify future opportunities.
- Represent the bank through community involvement and professional networking.
- Apply lending regulations and bank policies to support responsible credit decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in agricultural or commercial lending and managing banking relationships.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, evaluate credit risk, and develop sound lending recommendations.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, lending practices, and loan documentation.
- Strong communication, business development, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Integrity, discretion, and sound judgment when handling client information and financial decisions.
- Experience serving both agricultural and commercial clients.
- A demonstrated ability to grow a lending portfolio.
- Connections within the local agricultural or business community.
- Starting base salary of $110,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
