Public Works Maintenance Worker - Waterville

Overview

The City of Waterville is currently accepting applications for the position of a Public Works Maintenance Worker. The maintenance worker performs various tasks and is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment at the water and wastewater treatment plants. They maintain the City’s streets and storm sewer system, parks, buildings, and other City properties to support the functions of the Public Works department.

• Operate and maintain equipment at water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Maintain the City’s streets and storm sewer system, parks, buildings, and other City properties to support Public Works operations.

• Minimum qualifications:
  
  High school diploma or GED. Experience in a work environment with vehicle and equipment, general maintenance, and mechanical repairs. Class B driver s license with airbrake endorsement.
• Desirable qualifications:
  Possess Class D water and wastewater licenses or ability to obtain the license within one year.

The pay range for this position is $26.81-$28.41 with a competitive benefits package.
