The City of Minnetrista is seeking qualified candidates to join our Public Safety Department. Serving approximately 11,000 residents, our department consists of 20 dedicated professionals committed to providing exceptional service and building strong community relationships. • 2026 salary range: $80,334–$114,132, DOQ
• Lateral entry placement based on years of service
• Up to $6,000 signing incentive for lateral candidates
• Longevity pay after 5 years
• Employer-paid health insurance contribution up to $900/month single and $1,500/month family coverage
• Consideration of prior service for vacation accrual
• On-site fitness facility

• Special assignments include SWAT, Drug Task Force, Investigations, School Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, and instructor positions.
• Officers enjoy a trimester bid schedule with two weekends off per month and strong advancement opportunities, reflected in our average employee tenure of 13 years.
