Deputy Auditor Motor Vehicle

The Clay County Auditor's Office is now accepting applications to be considered for a Full-Time Deputy Auditor/Motor Vehicle position. This position is only open to internal employees at the Department of Motor Vehicle.

Starting salary: $23.51 per hour – Full salary range: $23.51 -$32.50 per hour

Shifts:

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM
-4:30 PM

Minimum requirements:

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school;
  • 6 months to 1 year of previous work-related experience;
  • Must be a current employee who works in the Department of Motor Vehicle
  • Applicant must successfully complete a background investigation.

Other requirements:

  • Experience with office machines, data entry, typing and mathematical computations is preferred.

Duties and essential functions:

  • Processing driver's license and identification card applications and renewals.
  • Assisting the public in the registration, titling and licensing of motor vehicles.
  • Maintains inventory records which include stickers and plates.
  • Prepares daily deposits, balance all tills and accounts for all transactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
