Overview
The City of Janesville is recruiting for a full-time Chief of Police. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing the operations of the police department and its staff.
Qualifications- Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in law enforcement, criminal justice or related field; seven to ten years progressive law enforcement experience; OR any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the job proficiently. - Must have supervisory experience; current Minnesota Peace Officer (POST) License; and valid MN Driver’s License.
- Preferred qualification:
Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
