The City of Redwood Falls Fire Department is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Firefighters. Firefighter/EMT experience is preferred but not required. The Fire Department needs dependable, team-oriented individuals dedicated to public safety and serving your community. Qualified candidates must meet age, physical, all department requirements as outlined in the full job description, and complete the required training certifications.
Must be available to attend weekly training on Thursday nights.
The Fire Department provides continued training and professional development for all part-time firefighters.
* SECTION 32.02. TRAINING. All firefighters hired after August 1, 2014 shall obtain their First Responder Certification within the first year of service and their Fire Fighter I and Haz Mat Ops Certifications within their second year of service. Fire Fighter II will be optional training at the request of the firefighter.
