SALARAY RANGE: $66,913.60 - $92,102.40
DescriptionThe Environmental Services & Infection Prevention Manager provides operational leadership for Environmental Services and the facility’s Infection Prevention & Control Program. This role ensures a safe, clean, and compliant care environment by overseeing EVS operations, leading infection prevention initiatives, and supporting regulatory readiness through surveillance, education, policy development, and cross‑department collaboration.
This position partners closely with clinical and non‑clinical teams to reduce risk, support quality outcomes, and promote best practices in environmental hygiene and infection prevention.
Education/Training- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Environmental Science, Safety, Quality, Facilities Management, Nursing, or related field preferred
- Associate degree with relevant leadership or healthcare operations experience considered
- Certification such as CHESP, CIC, or related quality/safety credential preferred
- Required certifications may be obtained within an established timeframe after hire, with organizational support
- Strong operational leadership and ability to manage programs across clinical and non‑clinical environments
- Knowledge of (or ability to learn) CDC, APIC, OSHA, and CMS regulatory standards
- Ability to translate regulatory and infection prevention requirements into practical workflows
- Competence in data tracking, dashboards, and quality improvement metrics
- Effective educator and communicator across diverse teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Collaborative approach with nursing, medical staff, facilities, quality, and support services
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare environmental services management preferred
- Experience supporting or leading regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience leading regulatory survey readiness and compliance activities
