Highlights of your role:
An Intake Coordinator is responsible for registering and scheduling rehabilitation services patients. Intake Coordinators have direct communication with patients, Rehabilitation Services staff, primary care providers, and specialists. Interdepartmental communication is also necessary for intake coordinators ensuring provision of care for our patients is maximized.

What you’ll get to do in this role:
Patients are appropriately registered into the Electronic Medical Record including accurate insurance information.
Verification of accurate patient data and insurance information is performed routinely.
Insurance authorization is obtained and patients are scheduled when appropriate authorization is obtained.
Prompt communication with patients and appropriate providers is completed to ensure timely scheduling and appointment times.
Schedule changes are made for patient and provider occurrences to ensure timely scheduling and appointment times.
Patients are greeted and arrival notification is provided to staff in a timely manner.
Community gym members are registered into the Life Care Rehabilitation Services electronic system, authorization to join is obtained from a provider when appropriate, and initial along with monthly membership dues are collected.
Complete a weekly checklist of department tasks to ensure staff and patient safety as well as department cleanliness.
You’re an excellent fit, if you have:
- high school diploma or GED
- previous office management experience preferred
- good communication skills
- excellent customer service skills
- good computer & time management skills
