Location: Warren
North Valley Health Center is currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist.
The Occupational Therapist is a clinically competent, licensed professional of their discipline who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients through the process of evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions. Effectively and professionally interacts with patients, family members, responsible parties, and other health care team members while maintaining NVHC's standards of behavior. Complies with regulatory standards of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards.
Completes evaluations/treatments with people of all ages from pediatrics to geriatric. Settings may include inpatient care, sub-acute care, outpatient care, and home care. This is a full-time position that includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.
- Current State of Minnesota license in Occupational Therapy, which must be in good standing.
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current American Heart BLS certification. If not current, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire or employment will be terminated.
- Individuals who have a positive impact in their work environment
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Flexibility to work across inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed environments
$65,000-$100,000/yr, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefit package includes health insurance, health savings account, retirement, paid time off, and life insurance.
