Salary Range: $34.50 - $57.00
Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Documents client information, establishes and modifies therapeutic plans, and educates clients and families about treatment and self-exercises. Knowledge of age-related treatments and current research integration is essential. May treat individuals of all ages with various diagnoses and disorders.
Follows clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates flexibility with work schedules and participates in departmental and organizational activities. May supervise aides and students and provide ongoing education. May focus on post-acute, long-term, and home health care environments based on facility needs.
Qualifications: Appropriate education level per state licensure, licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice, valid driver’s license if applicable, and maintenance of required competencies and certifications, including BLS within the first 60 days.
