Summary:

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Ph.D. or equivalent in Clinical Psychology or that is directly related to full professional work in Clinical Psychology is required. Clinical psychology:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
Providing clinical psychological services including evaluation, diagnosis, referral, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and specialized treatment modalities for mental health problems of children, adolescents, adults and families. Assessing high acuity (crisis) patients regarding level of care dispositions based on direct patient examinations. Making decisions with consultation whether high acuity (crisis) patients require transfer from an outpatient setting to the Emergency Room, or transfer from the Emergency Room to a higher level of care such as Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalization.
