Overview
Fairway View Senior Communities seeks a Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide performs a variety of dietary activities including preparing foods, portioning foods, setting up trays, clearing tables, racking and washing dishes, pots and pans, maintaining a sanitary environment. They also assist with transporting food to the medical campus during meal periods.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates understanding of procedures relating to food handling, dish washing, sanitizing work and eating surfaces
- Follows proper safety and infection control procedures in food and dish handling
- Demonstrates cooperation and team spirit when working with staff/residents/patients
- Works with others in the department and throughout the organization in a positive manner of those served and the department
- Part-time hours 4:00–7:30 pm
- Additional hours available during the week if desired
- $1.00 evening shift differential, $6.00 differential for picking up shifts
- Alternating weekends, with holiday rotation
- Retirement with Employer match
- Paid Time Off
- Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $24.11
