Speech Pathologist

This school-based contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF), as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), who are passionate about helping K8th grade students thrive. Youll work between two sites, enjoying consistent weekly hours and a manageable caseload, with a schedule that promotes work-life balance.
KeyQualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or enrollment in CFY, or current SLPA credentials
- Relevant licensure/certification for Minnesota schools (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings (school-based preferred)
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
- Provide speech and language therapy to K8 students in both group and individual sessions
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- 3032 hours weekly, 4 days per week (Monday Thursday or Monday Friday based on your preference)
- No summer hours required enjoy your break!
- Contract runs from ASAP through June 6, 2025, with the potential for renewal for the 202526 school year
- Serve students at two welcoming sites, gaining variety in your daily experience
