Substitute Licensed School Nurse
Work across all school buildings on an on-call and as-needed basis. Responsibilities include performing skilled nursing procedures, delegating nursing care procedures when appropriate, monitoring and supervision of delegation using clear written plans for delegates to follow, and interpreting health findings for educational staff regarding impact of health concerns on learning and accommodations required at school as needed.
Qualifications include a license as a registered nurse from the Minnesota Board of Nursing, current CPR certification for the healthcare professional, and current first aid certification. Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate and problem-solve are also required.
Pay rate is $27.75/hour. Insurance is not provided. Positions are covered by the Minnesota Teachers Retirement Association (TRA). Schedule is on-call and as-needed.
