Job Description
Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills. No call. Weekday hours only.
Education Qualifications- Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
- Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months – Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency.
- If North Dakota location, must have current North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) license on hire.
- If working in Department MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
