Overnight Direct Care Staff

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita Family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Position
:
Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) – Overnight opening.

Pay
: $11.41 (asleep) and $19.53 (awake).
Schedule
: 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday to Wednesday, 10 p - 7 a.

• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and provide care to individuals who may have behavioral challenges or complex needs.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Build trust with participants and work collaboratively with team leaders.

• No high school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience in human services or direct care necessary; training provided.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
• Valid driver's license with at least one year following permit and a clean motor‑vehicle record.
