The team provides individualized programs with part-time or full-time hours based on medical necessity, focusing on communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills. As a Minnesota-approved provider of Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI), the clinic delivers evidence-based therapy for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

Services include personalized treatment plans, strategies to strengthen key developmental skills, ongoing family training and coaching, and collaboration with schools and healthcare providers. The organization’s mission is to help children achieve meaningful progress while ensuring families feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their journey.

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions in an in-clinic setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), collecting and recording accurate data on client behavior and skill acquisition, and supporting goals related to communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills.

The RBT will collaborate with the clinical team, participate in team meetings, and communicate observations and progress to supervisors and families. The role also involves assisting with parent and family training sessions, maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment, and following all ethical and professional standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Northfield, MN.

• Possession or eligibility for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and commitment to maintaining credential and continuing education.
• Experience working with children or young adults, ideally those with autism spectrum disorder or developmental differences, in clinical, educational, or community settings.
• Strong observation, data collection, and documentation skills, with the ability to follow detailed treatment protocols and behavior plans.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with BCBAs, other clinicians, families, and caregivers.
• Capacity to manage challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies, maintain professionalism, and ensure client safety and dignity.
• Ability to be active throughout the day, engage in play-based and floor-based activities, and support clients across a range of developmental levels.
• High level of reliability, organization, and time management, with a commitment to consistent attendance in a full-time, on-site schedule.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in psychology, education, special education, social work, or related fields is preferred.
• Willingness to complete required training, background checks, and compliance with state and organizational policies and ethical standards.
