Job Summary
Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to serve in our family practice at the Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. The position is full‑time (0.8 FTE) with a regular schedule of 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off per week. No holiday or on‑call rotations are required, but two Saturday shifts will be required every six months.
ResponsibilitiesAssist registered nurses, physicians, and other providers and provide direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting. Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly, as noted in age‑related category.
Qualifications- LPN
:
Current LPN licensure with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing upon hire. - CMA
:
Current registration or certification as a medical assistant OR verifiable completion of a medical assistant program and must become certified within one year of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts. - Both:
American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire. - Ability to perform procedures and provide patient care in an ambulatory setting.
Shift start time: 8:00AM
Shift end time: 5:00PM
Weekends: 2 Saturdays every 6 months

No call obligation

Possible, but day rotation is required
$21.72 – $32.58 per hour
