Resident Assistant, Medication Aide, Long Term Care - Part time​/weekend shift

Good Samaritan is a not‑for‑profit organization dedicated to housing and services for seniors in a Christian environment. We are seeking a Part‑time Weekend Care Assistant for our facility in Windom, MN.

Salary Range: $16.00 – $25.50 per hour

Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services, and activities of daily living assistance. Supports residents with self‑administration of medications, bathing, toileting, dressing, transferring, and repositioning. Obtains vital signs accurately and reports changes in resident health status. Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections, follows aseptic cleaning techniques, and uses chemical agents safely in accordance with SDS guidelines.

Assists with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, folds, hangs, and distributes clean linens and clothing, and cleans residents’ rooms and public areas. Participates in community involvement and works with volunteers.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred;
  High School Diploma or GED required in some states.
• Must meet minimum state age requirement if a lift is used to move residents.
• Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training program and competencies per state guidelines.
