Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in Mora, Minnesota. This position involves performing general X-Ray and emergency CT imaging studies within a busy imaging department. The technologist will work primarily with a Siemens 128-slice Edge Plus CT scanner, providing vital imaging services to support patient diagnosis and care, including coverage in emergency and inpatient settings.
Job Details
- Shift: 8-hour shifts, with options for day or night rotations; overnights consist of three 12-hour shifts, while days are 8 to 12-hour shifts.
- Schedule:
Block scheduling planned out between 9 to 12 months ahead; night shifts will be the only tech on-site during overnight hours. - Required Qualifications:
ARRT certification, BLS certification, minimum of 0 years of experience, valid license to submit, and ability to work in the United States. - Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service skills, problem solving, critical thinking, ability to work independently, and experience with Epic/Epic Radiology communication tools (Merge, CRTIS). - Responsibilities:
Scheduling exams in Epic, transmitting images via Merge, performing plain film and emergency CT imaging, and working with radiology department equipment including Siemens Fusion DR, Mira Max, Elara Max Portables, Siemens Agile C arm, and OEC C arm. - Additional Information:
The department handles approximately 1 to 20 exams per shift, covering ER and inpatient areas. No in-house radiologist or RRA support, and IV starts are typically managed by ER staff. Scrubs are available on-site, and orientation will be provided during initial training. The facility is a Level 4 Trauma Center located within a 50-mile radius.
