- Performing radiology and CT procedures accurately and efficiently based on physician requests.
- Preparing and reviewing exam indications, ensuring proper imaging techniques, and reporting urgent findings.
- Providing complete and accurate data for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilizing PACS, RIS, HIS, EMR systems for image storage, retrieval, and documentation.
- Maintaining safety, quality, infection control, and legal standards.
- Assisting with staff training, clinical rotations, and record-keeping for compliance and quality assurance.
Radiology Technologist
Responsibilities Include- Performing radiology and CT procedures accurately and efficiently based on physician requests.
- Preparing and reviewing exam indications, ensuring proper imaging techniques, and reporting urgent findings.
- Providing complete and accurate data for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilizing PACS, RIS, HIS, EMR systems for image storage, retrieval, and documentation.
- Maintaining safety, quality, infection control, and legal standards.
- Assisting with staff training, clinical rotations, and record-keeping for compliance and quality assurance.
- Associate’s degree or certification from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification within 60 days of employment.
- Strong communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards, legal considerations, and imaging protocols.
- Ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and proper patient care.
- Adhering to department policies, safety guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Mentoring staff and students, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting organizational values.
