Dietary Supervisor - Long Term Care

Dietary Supervisor responsible for managing daily operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department. Oversees food service functions, including diet and menu planning, food dispensing, and supply distribution. Ensures quality management and continuous improvement by applying industry indicators and monitoring key metrics.

• Supporting strategic planning and departmental budgeting.
• Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Implementing process improvements and collaborating with information services for system changes.
• Participating in committees, staff meetings, and organizational initiatives.
• Maintaining certifications, pursuing ongoing education, and ensuring staff compliance.

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience.
• Preferred advanced education and certifications such as CDM or registered dietitian;
  Serv Safe certification within a year if needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
