As a
Health Unit Coordinator
, you will coordinate information and provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and the best possible experience for our residents and visitors. Our ideal candidate has knowledge of medical terminology, prior experience, and takes pride in being dependable, organized, and team focused.

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift Available: Days, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Wage Range: $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience

Location: 710 S Kenwood Ave., Moose Lake, MN

Health Unit Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

• Experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
