Patient Care Technician
Role:
Unit Technician, supporting patient care under the supervision of licensed medical staff.
Responsibilities:Assist with patient monitoring, including continuous heart rhythm analysis, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. In emergency settings, perform ECGs, splinting, and assist with medical emergencies, including using devices like the Lucas device. Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure patient stability and safety.
Qualifications:Must be 18+ years old with either 12 college credits or a high school diploma/GED plus Nursing Assistant training or equivalent. Basic computer skills, strong communication, organizational abilities, and knowledge of medical terminology required. BLS certification needed prior to patient care.
Skills:Ability to work under pressure, in a team, and be flexible.
Compensation & Benefits:$19.92 - $27.33/hour, comprehensive health plans, retirement, and other benefits.
Full-time role with 12-hour day/night rotations, including every 3rd weekend/holiday.
