Physical Therapy Assistant

Common Spirit Health -  - Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy to patients in the home under the direction of the physical therapist and per physician's plan of care;
Collaborate with therapy staff, patients, and families to seek the best possible treatment outcomes;
Direct and assist patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training;
Observe and report patient reactions and changes in condition to the physical therapist;
Maintain records and clinical notes within 24 hours of care; participate in Home Care team meetings and in-service education
