Travel Occupational Therapist

Join Big Stone Staffing as a travel occupational therapist – 13-week contract. Pay starting at $2600/week! Big Stone Staffing gives OT travelers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings—outpatient, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, and home health. • Guaranteed hours: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (no weekends, holidays, or call)
• Contract length: 13 weeks

• Graduate of an approved school of occupational therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Valid state OT licensure (or currently in an OT educational program)
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Must successfully pass a background check upon hire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in IP & OP preferred — new grads encouraged to apply!

• Providing supervision for occupational therapy assistants and/or therapy aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations
• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and identify functional and movement-related impairments.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
• Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands-on techniques to support healing
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
• Perform administrative tasks including reports, communication, and documentation per HIPAA
