Our Dermatology team provides specialized, patient-centered care for a wide range of skin conditions. We collaborate across specialties to ensure prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are seamless, compassionate, and personalized.
To deliver high-quality, personalized dermatology care while fostering an efficient, supportive, and collaborative clinic environment that promotes growth and learning.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic, high-quality patient care within our Dermatology clinic setting
- Support dermatology providers by scribing during procedures and patient visits
- Prepare and assist during dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy and MOHS surgeries
- Manage patient flow, exam room preparation, and supply organization
- Handle in-basket items, patient calls, and medication prior authorizations
- Ensure compliance with CLIA/OSHA standards and maintain surgical instruments
- Assist with specialized dermatology programs, including the iPledge Accutane registry and pathology processes
- Provide thorough patient education and post-care instructions
- Collaborate closely with dermatology providers and the broader specialty care team
This is a part-time position working day-shift, Monday through Friday, up to 48 hours per pay period (0.6 FTE).
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant program
- Must have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
