Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg and ED patients based on individual patient needs.
- Perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient responses.
- Care for patients in a 16-bed inpatient unit and 4-bed ED with 3 exam rooms.
- Manage extended ED-boarder patients and provide care for both inpatient and ED populations.
- Float to the Infusion Therapy Clinic as needed for medication co-signing and break relief.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in Epic.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and emergency-care skills.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality patient care.
- 2–3 years of ED experience – Required
- Strong ED and Med/Surg RN experience; role is approximately 50% ED / 50% Med/Surg
- Minnesota RN License – Required
- BLS – Required
- PALS – Required
- TNCC – Required
- ACLS – Required
- Epic experience – Required
