Therapist – Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

Provides therapeutic support to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assisting in developing and implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in evaluating patient needs and establishing treatment goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and exercises tailored to individual patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting significant changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in accordance with protocols.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, activities, and proper usage of assistive devices.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and adaptability in dynamic clinical environments.
