Job Description
Position Overview:
This role involves performing daily imaging and delivering prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients safely and accurately. The therapist applies technical knowledge of equipment, clinical treatment setup, anatomical landmarks, and treatment documentation during patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Execute accurate radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
- Interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient care details in treatment records and inpatient charts, maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Assess and report on patients' physical and emotional status.
- Support growth and development needs of diverse patient populations.
- Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program.
- Registration with the ARRT is required; licensure through NDMIRT if applicable.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and adhere to safety protocols.
