Position Overview

  • Guaranteed

    Hours:

    40-hour weekly guarantee
  • Schedule:

    Flexible;
    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CPR Certification
  • ASHA Certification (preferred)
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Assessing, diagnosing and treating communication disorders such as speech, fluency, language, voice and swallowing disorders
  • Developing, planning and implementing a personalized treatment plan to address patient concerns
  • Working with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care
  • Educating and counseling patients and families on communication and swallowing disorders
  • Keeping up to date on new techniques and trends in the field of speech language pathology and communication disorders
  • Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
  • Authenticating, preparing, and submitting documentation, ensuring confidentiality of all records, per HIPAA guidelines
