A Day in the Life of a Patient Access - Nisswa Clinic Scheduling (PAS)

The Patient Access Specialist-Scheduling is central in accurately scheduling appointments, upholding provider preferences, and ensuring slot availability for optimal patient care. As the primary facilitator of communication, this role ensures clear information exchange between patients, providers, and other departments, enhancing continual care collaboration. The specialist manages and maintains patient data within electronic medical records, verifying and updating insurance and demographic details for compliance and accuracy.

Challenges include multitasking under pressure and adapting to varying patient and provider needs swiftly. Daily tasks are balanced with customer service responsibilities, capturing the essence of front‑line support and efficient administrative performance.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience in this role. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
