Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-8 learners near Henderson, MN. This dynamic contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with students and staff across two engaging school sites, focusing on supporting those with autism and special education needs. With a flexible start as soon as possible through June 6, 2025, youll enjoy a consistent, school-year schedule with no summer hours required.
KeyQualifications:
- State licensure as an SLP, SLP-CF, or SLPA (required)
- Experience or passion for working with children on the autism spectrum and diverse learning profiles
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs
- Previous work in school settings preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates encouraged to apply
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-8th grade students across two school sites
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress assessments
- Provide support, guidance, and resources to students, families, and educational staff
- Maintain detailed and timely student records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and IEP conferences
- Flexible scheduling: 30-32 hours/week, choose a 4-day (Mon-Thur) or 5-day (Mon-Fri) workweek
