Location: Windom
Description
Windom Area Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to support our nursing units 16 hours per week (.6 FTE). The position serves as a multipurpose support to the nursing staff; assisting with patient care, registering patients, cleaning instruments, stocking, answering phones and greeting visitors.
Requirements
CNA, Medical Assistant or medical secretary background preferred, but not required. BLS certification is required.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and have knowledge of medical terminology.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge.
- Requires ability to do detailed work and have strong customer service skills.
This position will work a rotating schedule during the week, 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend and holiday.
