Hotel Night Auditor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Audits daily transactions for hotels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Balance hotel daily transactions and makes adjustments as needed
• Balance credit card transactions and makes adjustments as needed.
• Process required reports for Hotel manager and Accounting Department.
• Post night audit charges and closes out the cashier/transactions for the day.
• Balance Manager’s reports.
• Register Guests and assigns room manually while in night audit function.
• Check out Guests and receives all room payments.
• Administers wake‑up calls.
• Maintains all related records.
• Answers phones and provides excellent guest service.
• Responds to guests’ inquiries when needed items.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to operate a computer keyboard.
• Ability to handle and count cash.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Accounting/bookkeeping skills.
• General computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and database.

• Physically capable of standing, sitting and walking for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

Education Required:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:

One to two years related experience

Skills:

Must have computer skills

Certificates & Licenses:
Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.

Salary: $15.55–$20.63 per hour
