Breakfast Bar Attendant Job OverviewBreakfast Bar Attendants contribute to delivering an exceptional stay for our guests by preparing and serving the hotel’s morning breakfast. They also ensure safety by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergencies.
Primary Responsibilities- Prepare and display the hotel’s daily breakfast in accordance with brand and health department guidelines.
- Greet and engage guests, answer questions, address concerns, and solicit feedback to offer appropriate solutions.
- Regularly replenish food and beverage offerings, cleaning the service area to maintain a fresh and clean presentation of the serving line.
- Bus, clean, and sanitize tables and seating areas throughout shift.
- Manage inventories to maintain par levels based on hotel occupancy; place food, beverage, and supply orders as required.
- Maintain organized and clean prep and storage rooms; report any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Professional, warm, and approachable disposition.
- Ability to remain level-headed in hectic and tense situations.
- Hold and maintain any required food handling permit or license.
No supervisory responsibilities required for this job.
Physical DemandsFrequent movement around breakfāst, positioning to use kitchen equipment, moving up to 30 lbs. occasionally 50 lbs.
Mental DemandsMental alertness, ability to detect food irregularities, and identify safety concerns.
