Our Hotel group is looking for a professional Front Desk Guest Service Agent. Front Desk Job OverviewGuest Service Agents perform the various functions of hotel reception including registration, guest accounting, telephone and concierge services to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests. Additionally, they contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations.
Primary Responsibilities- Attending to guest registration, room assignments, and special requests.
- Taking, modifying, and updating room reservations.
- Accurately recording and processing guest charges, credits, and payments.
- Protecting and securely handling all guest information.
- Assisting and responding to all guest inquiries in person, phone, or email as appropriate.
- Finding the win‑win in resolving guest concerns or complaints.
- Delivering the Brand and Company promises.
- Professional, warm, and approachable disposition.
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to remain level‑headed in hectic and tense situations.
No supervisory responsibilities required for this job.
Physical DemandsFrequent physical movement within the front office area of the hotel; occasionally positioning oneself to stock supplies and attend to equipment located in lower cabinets and server rooms. Occasionally moving or transporting guest luggage or packages up to 50 lbs. Maintaining a stationary position for extended periods of time at assigned workstation.
Mental DemandsMust have mathematical ability and mental alertness. Ability to manage stress during hectic and tense situations.
Required Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.
