Prepper Position at Grand View Lodge
Grand View Lodge is looking for a reliable, hardworking Prepper to play a key supporting role in our Housekeeping operation. You'll work ahead of the housekeeping team; preparing recently vacated units for cleaning, transporting linens, making guest beds, and keeping linen trailers and golf carts stocked and ready. The work you do directly sets the housekeeping team up for success and ensures our guests walk into a space that feels fresh, clean, and welcoming every single time.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare recently vacated units for the housekeeping team: removing used linens and trash before their arrival so every room turn starts on time.
- Transport linens to designated laundry locations efficiently and on schedule.
- Make guest beds to Grand View Lodge and hospitality standards: accuracy and presentation matter here.
- Stock and maintain linen trailers and golf carts throughout the day, ensuring the team always has what they need.
- Inspect units for damage upon entry and report any issues to your supervisor immediately.
- Support the broader housekeeping operation with additional tasks as assigned — we're a team and everyone pitches in.
- This is a resort hospitality role; availability on weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons is required.
Job Requirements
- A reliable, positive, and hardworking attitude: you show up, follow through, and take pride in your work.
- Comfort with repetitive, physical tasks performed consistently throughout the day.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for 6–7 hours, climb stairs, reach, and bend throughout a full shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift over 80 lbs (linen bags, supply loads, etc.).
- Ability to read basic chemical labels and write simple reports or assessments as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; one year of equivalent work experience accepted in lieu.
- A valid driver's license with a clean record may be required for certain assignments involving company vehicles or golf carts.
