Full Time Grand View Lodge, Nisswa, MN, US

Salary Range: $18.11 To $19.92 Hourly

Position Overview

Grand View Lodge is looking for a warm, detail-oriented Reservations Agent to be the first voice many of our guests hear. You'll handle reservations across Rooms, Dining, Spa, and Golf; helping guests plan the perfect stay by asking the right questions, recommending the right packages, and making the booking process feel effortless. This is a sales-minded hospitality role: you'll actively promote resort amenities, maximize revenue through thoughtful recommendations, and build the kind of guest rapport that turns a first visit into a tradition.

No prior reservations experience? That's okay; we'll train the right person. What matters most is a genuine love of hospitality, strong communication skills, and a drive to make every guest interaction count.

About Grand View Lodge & Cote Hospitality

For over 100 years, Cote Hospitality has crafted transformative guest experiences across world-class resorts and camps. At Grand View Lodge, that means exceptional wellness woven into a full resort lifestyle, golf, dining, events, and more, all grounded in our Cote Cares culture of belonging, respect, and shared purpose. We're invested in your growth here: this role comes with real opportunity to advance and expand your skills within our Reservations department.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Handle inbound reservations via phone, email, and text; evaluating guest needs and recommending the right accommodations, packages, and resort amenities with confidence and warmth.
  • Answer calls promptly and professionally, resolving guest inquiries about room types, availability, resort services, dining, spa, and golf with accurate, up-to-date knowledge.
  • Book, block, and manage reservations in accordance with established operating procedures; maintain accuracy in all reservation details and updates.
  • Manage special reservation requests, monitor discounts, and ensure all bookings reflect current availability and pricing guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk, Sales, Spa, Dining, and Golf teams to coordinate guest requirements and ensure seamless communication across departments.
  • Actively promote resort packages, amenities, and add-ons in a natural, guest-first way that enhances the overall stay and supports revenue goals.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with guests and colleagues; in every interaction, you represent the Grand View Lodge experience.
  • Maintain compliance with all security, safety, and data standards; keep current on all room types, availability, and resort software systems.
  • This is a resort hospitality role; availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Other duties as may be assigned
What you bring
  • A warm, professional phone presence and strong written communication skills; guests should feel well taken care of from the first hello.
  • A sales and service mindset: you understand that a great reservation experience isn't just about booking a room, it's about setting the stage for an unforgettable stay.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability; you can manage multiple open reservations, shifting priorities, and guest inquiries without losing accuracy.
  • A collaborative, team-player attitude; you work closely with Front Desk and resort departments and communication matters here.
  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with reservations or property management software is a plus but not required.
  • Previous reservations, front desk, or hospitality experience is preferred — but we're happy to train the right candidate.

You’ll be part of a team that genuinely invests in its people. Cote Cares isn’t a tagline, it’s how we show up for each other every day. You’ll have the tools, support, and team culture to do your best work, with real opportunity to grow your career within our Reservations department.
