Interim Payroll Consultant

The Interim Payroll Consultant will provide short-term payroll coverage during a transition period, ensuring payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance. This consultant will also support payroll reporting and assist with payroll-related projects as needed. This is a hands‑on role requiring someone who can quickly learn processes, navigate systems efficiently, and bring a steady presence to a high‑impact function.

Hourly rate between $38-$48, DOE

• Administer payroll for almost 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process payroll according to established schedules.
• Support payroll reporting and assist with payroll-related projects.
• Partner closely with HR leadership and an HRIS consultant during the transition.
• Quickly learn and adapt to existing payroll processes and systems.

• Payroll administration experience supporting a similarly sized employee population.
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Ability to ramp up quickly in new environments and systems.
• Experience with Dayforce preferred but not required.
• Comfort working independently while collaborating with HR leadership and partners.
