Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr

OverviewOur client is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 12–16 month contract to support a high-volume payroll team during a major system implementation. This role will focus on full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 5,000 employees in a complex environment with varied pay structures. This is a fully onsite position around St. Bonifacius, MN (with potential for hybrid flexibility after training).

, ideally with UKG Dimensions.
- Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for approximately 5,000 employees in partnership with the payroll team.
- Manage end-to-end payroll activities including timecard review, pay calculations, shift differentials, and contracted compensation rates.
- Administer payroll garnishments, deductions, reimbursements, and special pay items.
- Maintain and update employee payroll data within UKG and related HRIS systems.
- Audit payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure payroll data integrity.
- Reconcile payroll data with third-party vendors and monitor IRS/RMC limits.
- Balance, report, and remit payroll taxes; prepare and file quarterly and year‑end reports including 941s and W‑2s.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with data cleanup and system review initiatives.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and provide payroll‑related reporting as requested.
- 4–5+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong, recent experience with UKG is required (UKG Dimensions highly preferred).
- Experience processing complex payrolls including garnishments, taxes, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
- Solid understanding of payroll laws and regulatory compliance.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
