Data Processor

Location: Spring Valley

$20.00-$25.00 an hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

* Accurately input and process customer orders into the company's database or order management system.

* Ensure timely and precise handling of all aspects of order processing, from order entry to fulfillment.

* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's inventory system.

* Regularly update inventory records to reflect stock levels, ensuring accurate availability information.

* Collaborate with the inventory control team to address discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

* Coordinate the shipment of LTL orders, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and customer requirements.

* Collaborate with logistics and shipping departments to arrange timely and cost-effective deliveries.

* Verify and correctly price customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product pricing and applicable discounts.

* Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve any pricing discrepancies.

* Address customer inquiries and concerns related to order status, pricing, and shipment.

* Provide prompt and helpful responses to resolve any issues or problems related to customer orders.

* Work closely with team members in various departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

* Collaborate with coworkers to share insights and best practices for optimizing data processing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in data processing, order fulfillment, or a similar role.

* Familiarity with inventory management systems and order processing software.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Physical demands:

Must be able to safely perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. Duties primarily involve sitting, standing, and working at a computer for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for data entry and phone communication. May occasionally require lifting or moving office materials up to 20 pounds.
