We are looking for an experienced Design Lead to join Fonecta at a pivotal moment in our product journey. This is a highly impactful role where you will shape the future of user experience across two Nordic markets, lead UX for our core SaaS product, and elevate design capabilities across our broader product portfolio (such as Fonecta Caller and Finder).

Fonecta is a Nordic data and software company helping businesses get discovered, stand out and grow across digital channels. We build scalable SaaS products with strong local relevance and Nordic reach.

At the heart of this role is Connect, our Nordic SaaS product, serving customers under Fonecta-brand in Finland and Hitta.se
-brand in Sweden. As Design Lead, you will own and evolve the UX of Connect while also taking Fonecta-Hitta’s UX and design know-how to the next level across products, teams and markets.

This role combines hands-on product design, design discipline leadership, and cross-market collaboration in a Nordic product organization.

• Own the UX vision of the Connect product and develop end-to-end UX
• Combine business goals with user-centered design and service design thinking
• Use customer insights and user research to guide design decisions
• Design accessible, high-quality user experiences for different user groups
• Work closely with developers as part of an agile Scrum team
• Iterate design solutions based on feedback from users, stakeholders and the team, while actively giving and receiving design critique and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead and be the supervisor for the Design team, building and evolving the UX discipline beyond a single product
• Lead the development of shared design principles, practices and ways of working across the product portfolio
• Grow design competence and maturity by mentoring, coaching and sparring with designers across teams
• Drive the development and adoption of the Design System across products
• Facilitate design critiques and workshops, and actively shape a strong, collaborative design culture
• Influence how design contributes to business impact across multiple products and markets

• Strong senior-level experience in UX and user-centered design for digital products
• Experience designing and developing Product-Led Growth (PLG)-driven products, where UX plays a key role in adoption, engagement and value realization
• Proven ability to own and drive end-to-end UX for a SaaS product
• In-depth experience designing UX for web, iOS and Android platforms
• A business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business goals into excellent customer experiences
• Solid experience using UX frameworks and service design methods to guide product development
• Experience as a supervisor & lead to a Design team, responsible for growing design maturity beyond a single product or team
• Ability to define and evolve shared UX principles, practices and ways of working across products and teams
• Proven experience mentoring, coaching and sparring with designers at different seniority levels
• Experience driving the development, adoption and governance of Design Systems across products
• Strong facilitation skills for design critiques, workshops and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to influence stakeholders and leadership on the role and impact of design

• Deep hands-on expertise in UX and design tools, especially Figma and Figma Make
• Ability to design production-ready, developer-friendly solutions with a strong understanding of technical constraints
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with developers, product owners and business stakeholders
• A true team player who enjoys working toward shared goals and actively gives and receives feedback
• Familiarity with agile product development and Scrum-based ways of working
• Fluency in English. Finnish or Swedish is considered a strong advantage
• Ability to adapt to change and operate in environments with ambiguity
