Tech Assistant Help Desk Assistant

Penmac Staffing is seeking a Temporary IT Support Technician to support a client’s technology needs during a busy summer and back-to-school period. This is a full-time, 6-month temporary position working 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $24 per hour. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, organization, and supporting end users in an educational or multi‑site environment.

• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and assigning iPads to grade‑level groups
• Organize, inventory, and assign Chromebooks to individual students
• Support summer projects including organizing data closets and removing outdated technology
• Use Mobile Device Management (MDM) software to manage and configure iPads
• Use printer management software to support and monitor print jobs at district locations
• Install and set up technology including UPS units, speakers, projectors, PCs, and Chromebooks
• Perform other assorted IT and help desk duties as assigned

• Basic knowledge of computers, tablets, and common hardware
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

• Temporary position lasting approximately 6 months
