The Precision Ag Technician supports our service departments in executing our Precision Upgrade strategy and assisting our Precision Team in educating and aiding customers with issues that extend beyond remote resolution. In this capacity, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our trade‑in equipment is upgraded with the latest Precision Ag technology to enhance customer experiences. Collaborating with team members, you’ll actively implement solutions to bolster customer profitability and minimize in‑season downtime.

- Implement Ready software upgrades and manage data on trade‑in equipment.
- Ensure completion of software updates, calibrations, software licenses, and pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) before delivery to end users.
- Provide consultative business services to customers, offering advice on optimizing performance, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
- Conduct product orientation sessions with customers upon or shortly after delivery.
- Offer problem resolution support to customers and employees via Expert Connect tickets that necessitate assistance from the Service Department.
- Coordinate and assist in the execution of Precision Upgrade Kits.
- Maintain accountability for billable time and assigned work orders.
- Aid service technicians as required in repairing, installing, and calibrating Precision Ag technology components.
- Verify that customers’ Operation Center accounts are correctly configured to ensure remote dealer support.
- Train customers on proper Operation Center Mobile utilization.
- Proactively install necessary software updates on customer‑owned equipment to minimize in‑season downtime.
- Support boundary mapping tasks, as needed.
- Utilize and maintain accurate records within Service Advisor software to support diagnostics and documentation.
- 2+ years’ experience working with Precision Agriculture Technology
- Demonstrated ability to follow and provide effective step‑by‑step instructions to both internal and external customers.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off‑road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
- Experience with John Deere Operation Center.

CompensationThe following represents Kibble Equipment compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is an hourly role with a starting base of $27/hr and goes up to $29/hr based on experience. This role is also incentive eligible and is based on performance.
