Overview

The Technology Executive Search Partner is a highly strategic and operationally strong talent leader responsible for building and executing the enterprise technology executive hiring strategy. This role identifies, attracts, and secures senior-level and highly specialized technology leadership talent (e.g., CIO, CTO, VP/Head of Engineering, Data, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure) while serving as a trusted advisor to Technology leadership, HRLT, and senior business leaders.

The Technology Executive Search Partner owns the full lifecycle of confidential, enterprise-critical technical executive searches—from intake through offer—while providing deep market intelligence, talent insights, and strategic recommendations that shape leadership hiring decisions. This role requires strong expertise in technology talent markets, executive-level sourcing practices, and the ability to both set strategy and execute with precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Executive Search Strategy & Delivery:
    Lead and execute complex, high-impact technology executive searches across the enterprise, ensuring a best-in-class candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies to identify passive executive-level technical talent across competitive and niche markets.
  • Build and maintain executive-level technology talent pipelines aligned to future-state capabilities (e.g., digital transformation, cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity).
  • Ensure consistent use of structured, data-informed assessment and selection methodologies.
Executive Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Technology executives, HRLT, and senior business leaders on market trends, talent availability, competitive intelligence, and selection best practices.
  • Facilitate high-quality intake conversations to align role definition, leadership competencies, and search strategy.
  • Provide ongoing executive-level reporting, including search progress, talent insights, and candidate market feedback.
  • Advise on organizational design considerations and succession planning for critical technology leadership roles.
Strategic Collaboration & Influence
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, Enterprise TA leaders, and cross-functional partners to align technology executive hiring with organizational strategy.
  • Influence without authority across business units to ensure consistent hiring standards, decision-making rigor, and operational excellence.
  • Represent Talent Acquisition as a leader in enterprise-wide initiatives related to digital transformation, workforce planning, and leadership capability building.
Market Engagement & External Relationships
  • Cultivate relationships with external technology executive networks, industry associations, and professional communities.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on technology leadership talent competition, compensation trends, and emerging skill demands.
  • Build credibility in the external market to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice for technology leaders.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
  • Manage highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Ensure accuracy in documentation, process adherence, and compliance across all stages of executive search.
  • Continuously refine search processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of corporate talent acquisition or executive search experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven success managing senior-level technology or digital executive searches in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise and strong operational rigor.
  • Strong HR acumen with emphasis on delivering a world-class executive talent acquisition experience.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Experience using Workday or similar HRIS/ATS platforms.
